Those Babies

Well, I have now seen photos of the Cassidy X Eowyn litter. Three black girls, two blue girls. They're not quite two weeks, so of course it will be awhile before quality can be assessed. When I've got puppies and look at them everyday, I can see a few things now and then--length of neck, etc.--but it's impossible to do from photos of "hamsters." One black girl may be a mismark. I'm told she has color that just barely-barely touches the outer corner of one eye. At any rate, Lynn Griner, co-owner of Eowyn, gets pick, and I follow up with #2. I haven't had a baby to keep for two years, as all of Panda's last year went to other homes, so I'm psyched. 8-)

Anyone else adding to their menagerie?

I am excited for you! I know exactly what you are talking about - getting to watch them grow day by day and you can evaluate the whole picture. I am hoping I can find a bitch I can lease to breed to Luther so I can watch a litter of his grow under my own eyes.

Our new baby, Zsa Zsa arrived on Wed.

I wish I was! I've not had a puppy in 7 years. Well, I do have a Chi I'll be showing coming from a friend whenever we can work out getting her here, but she's an adult, and won't necessarily be mine.

I hope you get something nice, Jennifer!

My Lizzie is VERY pregnant and not due for another 2 weeks. For now just hoping they all get here safely!

I hope you get a great pup! I wish we could add to our house full of cats, they need to be herded! But, we will eventually!

lol..we hope to add some in the near future. Audrey was bred last week...and we have a few others we are planning out for later this year...so hopefully there will be lots of puppies out next spring.

Jeri, this is the time when we start feeling guilty for breeding them! There is an inconvenience with a big litter when their legs are so short.

Yup, pictures will be posted when there's something to see. The problem with baby puppies is that they're just kind of blobs with legs. But these guys are just about three weeks, and eyes and ears are opening, so the next batch of photos should show puppies rather than hamsters!

Speaking of, today and tomorrow I'm puppy-sitting for 2-day-old Golden puppies while mom and dad are at work. I've never seen Golden puppies that young!

Spring season, when puppies are born and show appearances are planned! You're right, Renay, there should be quite a few pups out in six months or so. I've got the Michigan puppy coming, plus I'll be breeding Panda shortly--and this time I'll keep something! Building majors should be easier than usual.
